Coming from out of town?
Does Empowered offer virtual or telehealth treatment?
No. All of our programming happens in person at our center in Northwest Austin. That is part of what makes it work: supported meals, groups, and daily structure happen in the same room, with the same team.
Can I come to Empowered if I live outside Texas?
Yes. Adults come to us from outside Austin and outside the state. Many stay in our transitional housing while they attend PHP or IOP. Our team can talk through what coming to Austin would involve before you decide anything.
Will my insurance from another state cover treatment in Austin?
It depends on your plan. Many plans have out-of-network benefits, and some cover care outside your home state. We can check your benefits and help you understand them before you commit.
What happens when I go home?
We plan the step down with you. Aftercare can include connecting with a therapist, dietitian, or psychiatric provider where you live, so support continues once programming ends.
