Steffani Roller, LPC, LCDC, IEDS

Co-Founder and Clinical Director

Steffani Roller is the Co-Founder and Clinical Director at Empowered. With more than 10 years of experience in behavioral health, her background includes work in substance use treatment centers, counseling support within a psychiatric clinic, and private practice. These experiences have allowed her to support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

Steffani believes eating disorders often emerge as responses to pain, overwhelm, disconnection, and unmet needs. Core to her treatment philosophy is helping clients understand the function or protective role their eating disorder has been trying to serve. She supports clients in reestablishing a sense of safety, strengthening emotional regulation skills, and challenging the rules and core beliefs that keep people feeling stuck or hopeless. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in the belief that clients are the experts of their own histories and experiences. Steffani’s role is to support, guide, and compassionately challenge clients on their recovery journey while helping them reconnect with their authentic selves. She holds deep respect for the courage it takes to be vulnerable in therapy and to show up for recovery, especially in the IOP setting. With that in mind, she is committed to creating a space where people feel seen, understood, and empowered to rebuild trust in themselves and to envision and claim a life beyond their eating disorder.

In her free time, Steffani enjoys yoga, walking the trails with friends, the occasional throwback emo playlist, and spending time with her family and pit bull dog crew.
