Brittni Pogue

Co-Founder & Director of Admissions and Business Development

Brittni Pogue is the Co-Founder and Director of Admissions at Empowered, where she brings more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families navigating eating disorders, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health challenges. Her career has been rooted in one guiding belief: healing happens best in small, compassionate spaces where people feel seen, safe, and cared for.

Brittni’s professional journey began in the substance-use disorder field, where she developed a deep understanding of how trauma, shame, and emotional pain shape a person’s relationship with both food and substances. Over time, her work expanded into eating-disorder recovery, and she quickly became known for her ability to meet clients and families with warmth, honesty, and unwavering support during some of their most vulnerable moments. Brittni has helped hundreds of individuals access the right level of care by creating welcoming, transparent, and human-centered admissions processes. She believes that the first call someone makes for help can define their entire recovery experience—and she is committed to ensuring every person feels valued, respected, and understood from the very beginning.

Known for her client centered approach, Brittni continues to build relationships with community partners, families, and clinicians who share her passion for ethical, stigma-free care. Above all, she is driven by the belief that recovery is not only possible, but deserves to happen in a place where people feel truly seen.

In her free time, Brittni enjoys spending time with her husband, her children, and their four dogs, who bring endless joy and laughter into their home.
